The development of the software solution Comos iAge means that a very important step has been taken in setting up an Life Cycle Asset Information Management system.

Comos iAge is a comprehensive system that is fully integrated within itself and has all the required functions for the planning and organization of the maintenance and inspection tasks within the company. The wide variety of preventive and condition-oriented servicing measures is shown in a systematic and structured way that makes it easy to get an overview. For example, in this way it is clearly and unmistakably stipulated who has to do which tasks and when and where.

The aim of developing a solution for practical use was successfully reached in joint work together with Messrs. Chemserv. A crucial challenge here was to develop a modern servicing management system which can be used in a flexible and highly complex way but which at the same time is also quick and easy for anyone to use.

A further vital premise in the creation of Comos iAge was the planning and administration of resources such as personnel, qualifications and items to be used. The result was a highly promising solution in the form of the additional Shutdown Management module, in which the above-mentioned resources can also be exported automatically to a project management system such as MS Project.
