Comos PDMS* Integration – a quantum leap in 3D engineering

Integration between Comos P&ID and the 3D Equipment and Piping Designn from AVEVA PDMS – with central management of pipe-parts catalogues and pipe specifications within Comos.

Comos PDMS* Integration has been developed by Comos Industry Solutions in cooperation with the Norwegian AKER KVÆRNER group. This software allows the users of the product AVEVA PDMS to seamlessly integrate design data created in Comos into their 3D design work.

It consists of two modules, the Comos Construction Assistant and Comos PDMS* Integration Manager. Both Comos and AVEVA PDMS use standards-based pipe specifications for the integrated pipe-parts catalogue and pipe specification management (Cat&Specs) with the Comos PipeSpec Designer acting as a user interface for AVEVA’s Cat&Specs tool Paragon. MTOs and BOMs with documents are managed centrally in Comos.
